Richard Seidl with a Software Test Mastermind group of testing professionals
2 spots left · Starting September 2026

6 Spots. 6 Months. Testing professionals who push each other forward.

Anyone who really wants to advance in testing finds what matters not in courses, but in conversation with others who know the same challenges. The mastermind gives you that space.

Why Richard Seidl Runs This Mastermind

Not a course seller. Someone who has sat in mastermind groups himself and knows what happens there.

25+ Years of Experience

In software development, testing, and coaching: not as theory, but as lived practice in real IT projects.

8 Technical Books

Including reference works on software quality and testing in the German-speaking IT community.

Firsthand Mastermind Experience

Richie has been part of several mastermind groups himself. He didn't invent the format. He lived it and then built it for testing professionals.

Who Is It For?

Do You Recognize This?

The mastermind is for testing professionals who don't want to find the next level alone.

You're Growing Faster Than Your Environment

Your colleagues are still dealing with basics, you want to talk about strategy, automation architecture, or career moves. With whom?

No Outside Mirror

In daily work you go in circles. What really helps: someone who sees your situation from the outside and asks what you don't ask yourself. That doesn't happen in courses.

Development Without Structure

LinkedIn courses, books, conference talks, but no system behind it. You know you're capable of more. You're missing the framework to actually make it happen.

The Format

No Lecture. Real Work on Real Problems.

The mastermind isn't a course. No slides you'll forget afterward. Every meeting has a result: a concrete decision, a next step, a shift in perspective.

Hot Seats: You bring your current topic. The group and Richard give direct feedback: honest, focused, without polite hedging.

Expert Impulses: Current topics from testing, AI, automation, and leadership, brought in by Richard or from within the group. Not frontal instruction, but exchange.

Accountability: You set goals, the group holds you to them. This works because everyone holds the same standard.

The Path to the Mastermind

From Application to Start: Four Steps

Not a complex procedure. But a deliberate selection, because the group has to work.

01

Application

Short written application: who you are, where you stand in testing, what you're hoping to get from the mastermind. No cover letter bureaucracy. A few honest sentences.

02

Initial Conversation

30 minutes with Richard. Not a sales pitch, an honest conversation about whether the mastermind is the right format for you. If it doesn't fit, you say no. If it fits, we move forward.

03

Admission

If you and Richard are aligned: welcome. The group is deliberately kept small: maximum 6 people. That gives everyone enough room.

04

6 Months of Mastermind

Every two weeks, 120 minutes, online. Plus asynchronous communication in the group between sessions. Optional: 1:1 coaching as a supplement.

"Gets Things in Order"
"In my view, very few people live and breathe the topic of testing with this kind of passion. Richie isn't just exceptionally knowledgeable across the whole field, he manages to inspire people through his coaching, talks, seminars, and podcasts. The word "future optimist" gets filled with actual meaning and brought to life."

"Richard is a true specialist in software testing. As a fellow consultant, I had a close-up view of how he draws on his foundational knowledge, which he also shares as a trainer and makes available as an author, combined with broad hands-on experience across nearly all areas of quality assurance, to support clients as effectively as possible in their projects."

Frequently Asked Questions About the Mastermind

What you want to know before applying. Answered directly.

For you, if you have at least 2 to 3 years of testing experience, know where you want to go (or want to figure that out), and are willing to openly discuss your challenges, not just listen. Not for you, if you're looking for ready-made answers without your own engagement, or if you're still at the beginning of your testing career. For those starting out, there is 1:1 mentoring.
On request. Get in touch and we'll discuss format and investment in the initial conversation. Money-back guarantee after the first meeting.
Three steps: submit application (short self-description), initial conversation (30 minutes, free), admission decision. We check together whether the mastermind is the right format for you. Not a sales event.
The next round starts in September 2026. Currently 2 of 6 spots still available. Applications are open now.
Regular group sessions take place online, so they fit into everyday work life, whether you're in Vienna, Berlin, or Zurich. Whether there will be occasional in-person meetings depends on the group. We'll sort that out together.
