Testing as one of the most common means of quality assurance contributes significantly to the success of the project. The earlier attention is paid to good quality, the faster and more cost-effectively errors can be eliminated. This in turn has a massive effect on the duration of the project.

The management of tests is therefore of great importance. In addition to controlling the test activities, balancing the interests of the stakeholders or driving forward advanced test approaches for test improvement are important fields of activity for the test manager.
