Which ISTQB training is right for me?

If you do not have a testing certificate yet: Foundation Level. That is the entry point and the prerequisite for everything else. If you already have Foundation Level and want to specialize in AI: CT-GenAI. If you want to build your practical testing skills: ISTQB Addon Practical Tester as a complement.

What order makes sense?

Foundation Level first, it is even mandatory for CT-GenAI. After that, either GenAI Tester or Practical Tester depending on your focus. Both at the same time is possible but not recommended. Better to do one well than two halfway.

How long does preparation take?

Foundation Level: 4 intensive days or an 8-week on-the-job program. CT-GenAI: 2 days. Practical Tester: 2 days. The study effort depends on your background. Those with testing experience get there faster.

Online or in-person?

Both are possible. Online in small groups: real interaction, not a recorded e-learning course you stop halfway through. In-person on request. Inhouse for teams also available.

Are inhouse options available?

Yes, and often the most effective option for teams. Content, examples, and pace are tailored to your team and your systems. Just get in touch, quick conversation, and we'll figure out what fits.

Are the trainings available in English?

Yes. Both ISTQB Foundation Level and CT-GenAI are available in English. The A4Q Practical Tester training material is in English by default; the training language can be German or English.
